An Elephant's Memory

A novel, a play, a video-scenography, a series of drawings and installations

 2015-2019

An Elephant's Memory is a complex project on cultural memory as a form of rhyzomatic identity, that is, a conception of identity based on difference rather than conformity. It features a play and several visual artworks inspired by the elephant Bombay "Bombe," who lived in the Milan zoo between 1939 and 1988. A dedicated website accounts for the wholeness of this composite work of art. Click here to access it.
